Safety is most important when dealing with liquid petroleum. Knowing what to do when a situation becomes dangerous is key to keeping you and others safe.

The first thing to notice if something is wrong is a rotten egg smell. If you notice this, turn off the main gas supply valve immediately. Extinguish any open flames and anything that could ignite, as this could easily start a fire.

Get a safe distance away and call us to report the leak. If we are unavailable, call your local fire department or 911. Keep away until you are given the go-ahead to go back to your building or area.
