Olson Oil is proud to give back to the Fergus Falls community and surrounding Otter Tail County by helping students pursue a college education. Every year in May, the Annual Olson Scholarship Program donates $1,000 scholarships to five area high school graduates to help fulfill their educational dreams.
Since 2016, the Olson Oil Scholarship program has given away more than $20,000 to Otter Tail County Seniors. Here is a little more information about the application process:

Every year the $1,000 Olson Oil Scholarship application deadline is in February. The winners will be announced in May.
Fergus Falls students can apply through their school website and students in surrounding Otter Tail County communities can apply online or call us at 218-736-2786 for more information.
Olson Oil Scholarship application isn’t your average application. It asks students to provide background about work history, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and GPA. There are no specific guidelines around application formatting in order to bring creativity out of the applicants. The open application process uncovers an applicant’s passion and how that passion, combined with a college education, might impact our surrounding community.
